
Lowell began her acting career in Dangerously Close, followed by the role of a minor character in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. The actress went on to roles that included co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) as well, beginning in 1996 acting as assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a character she reprised on the show in 2005 to play a guest character on the spinoff show, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and later on in the original series in 2022 when it returned for the 21st season.
