Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director writer, producer, and educator in St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her performances as a kid and observing her mother working. When she was a girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna moved to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. After that, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna was a convert to Judaism by then and Seth Cooperman got married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011, they renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony. Bo's same sex relationship, together with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo) was featured in CNN as one of the most popular TV Couples. E! named the couple "the top television Couple" in 2013.
