Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and singer. Lucy Liu is a beautiful and intelligent actor. A lot of Asian actors who are aspiring to become famous actors in Hollywood are influenced by Lucy Liu. She gained fame after several popular roles in shows. For instance, in the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. She translated her newfound fame into roles for the big screen in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. Around the same time she also played lead roles in some film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was a voice actress for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's tiny screen role as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police drama that Liu starred frequently played a part that has helped her regain her status as a renowned actor. Liu chooses her roles with care to avoid becoming typecast in this competitive industry. She's accepted her Chinese roots however she has not let them restrict her creativity.
